About

The International Association for Experimental Vibration Analysis for Civil Engineering Structures (EVACES) serves as a platform for professionals, researchers, and organizations engaged in experimental vibration analysis for civil engineering structures. EVACES organizes and sponsors the International Conference EVACES, designed to promote international cooperation and knowledge sharing in the field. Since its first edition in 2005, the EVACES conference series has played a pivotal role in shaping the discourse and progress of experimental vibration analysis over the past two decades. To date, ten editions of the EVACES conference have taken place (Bordeaux, Porto, Wroclaw, Varenna, Ouro Preto, Dübendorf, San Diego, Nanjing, Tokyo, Milan).

EVACES is committed to promoting and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and best practices among professionals, researchers, and organizations in the multidisciplinary field of experimental vibration analysis for civil engineering structures. The association actively fosters collaborations and partnerships between academia and industry to facilitate the practical application of research findings in civil engineering. Additionally, EVACES supports dissemination activities aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of individuals involved in experimental vibration analysis for civil engineering structures, including training courses, workshops, and e-learning tools. The association also recognizes and awards prizes to excellent scientists and researchers in the field, thereby encouraging excellence and innovation.
